1. Aug 16, 2026

   Depart Winnipeg

   Flight YWG → Victoria Falls.

2. Aug 17

   Arrive Victoria Falls

   Settle in. First evening light at the gorge.

3. Aug 17 – 19

   Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

   The Smoke That Thunders. Long-exposure mist, basalt cliffs, rainbow spray.

4. Aug 19

   Transfer to Chobe

   Road transfer across the border into Botswana.

5. Aug 19 – 22

   Chobe River, Botswana

   Boat-based long-lens work. Bathing elephants, hippos, fish eagles.

6. Aug 22

   Bush plane to the Delta

   Chobe → Shinde Footsteps camp, Okavango Delta.

7. Aug 22 – 26

   Okavango Delta, Botswana

   Mokoro canoes through papyrus channels. Aerial work at first light.

8. Aug 26 – 27

   Return to Winnipeg

   Long way home.
